Honey Pot with Gingko Design

Description

This sweet little honey pot comes with a honey spoon and lid.  This stoneware pot is finished with a gingko design from an underglaze transfer and covered in a white food safe glaze.

It’s a perfect addition to your counter display of pottery and is accented well with the gingko teapot in the same finish.

Gingko Biloba or Maidenhair, is one of the oldest living tree species and is known for its antioxidant properties.   It’s leaves start out green and slowly change to golden-yellow in the fall.  It a species native to China, but can grow in certain north american climates as well.

Honey is a delicious addition to toast, coffee, tea, cooking and baking.  It is a refined sugar so remember moderation when using this sweet ingredient.  Here is my favorite Honey Balsamic salad dressing recipe.
