Wine Cooler in stamped design

Description

This pottery wine cooler or utensil holder is hand built from a slab of red clay and stamped with hand made designs.  Stamping clay is super fun!  My stamps are hand made from a small block of clay and then bisque fired.  The slabs set up for a bit and then the piece is hand formed into this shape, and a bottom added.  The glaze is actually white but over the red clay it looks grey and I like that the glaze goes into the dips and valleys of the piece leaving a shadow of the red clay showing through the surface.

It’s a great wine chiller to your table or an accent on your kitchen counter for large utensils.
